About the Startup:

Shaun Oshman, the Father of Flair, and Jessica Candelaria, the Flair Fairy, founded Helmet Flair. We describe our products in three words: Original, Fun, and Responsible.

How did we come up with the idea for this product? Shaun has been riding bikes his whole life and noticed that helmets were not cool enough. After prototyping in 2019, production started in Ohio in 2021. We chose the magnetic attachment because it allows for easy swapping and spinning to change the look. Safety was also a priority, as the flair is designed to pop off in case of a wipeout.

What makes our product special? Our MagNeatOhz product line has patent-pending technology that allows for easy swapping of flair. We are based in Boulder, CO and manufacture our products in Ohio, which allows us to provide excellent support. Our products are durable and have clean lines thanks to our high-quality molds. Check out our Softeez product line for a squishy peel and stick option.
