TLD D4 Composite Full Face MTB Helmet - Max Ventilation, Lightweight, MIPS - Adult Men Women (Team Sram White/Glo Red, Large)

Always Evolving, we have successfully enhanced the design and functionality of our D3 helmet to create the D4 Composite helmet. This was no easy task, but we accomplished it. By utilizing an aerospace shell design and materials, we managed to reduce the weight of the D4 Composite helmet to 1050 grams without compromising its strength.

To provide an extra layer of safety in the event of a fall, we incorporated the MIPS C2 protection system. In terms of comfort, the D4 Comp features a front air intake system that allows cooling air to flow through the polymer center and power grid side mesh, keeping your head cool during your ride.

We have also taken measures to ensure a pleasant experience for the wearer. The X-static® and XT2® anti-microbial/anti-odor padding inside the helmet creates a more comfortable environment.

It is important to note that this helmet is designed and intended exclusively for bicycling activities, including mountain biking and off-road cycling. We have equipped the D4 Comp with 20 high-flow intake and exhaust ports, maximizing ventilation. We have also improved impact performance by adding EPS and introducing a new headform shape.

For emergency situations, the D4 Comp comes with quick-release and contoured 3D cheek pads that allow for easy helmet removal. The removable snap-in washable comfort liner is made with Coolmax and Dri-lex moisture-wicking materials.

To reduce weight while increasing material tensile strength, we have incorporated super light titanium D-rings. In terms of safety certifications, the D4 Comp meets the standards of CPSC 1203, CE EN1078, ASTM F1952-DH, and ASTM 2032-BMX.
